Impressum
Legal notice pursuant to §5 TMG / §18 Abs. 2 MStV
[FILL IN] below is a legal requirement, not optional detail — a German
website without a complete, accurate Impressum is a real, actively-enforced liability
(this is one of the most commonly issued formal warnings, "Abmahnungen", against small
websites and apps in Germany). Since you're operating as a private individual rather than
a registered company, the required fields are simpler (your real name, address, and
phone number) — but they still have to be your genuine, verifiable details, not
placeholders. Do not deploy this page until every field is filled in.
Operator
[FILL IN: your full legal name, exactly as it appears on your ID/passport — e.g. "Kevin Albajrami". You're providing this as a private individual, not a registered company, so no trade/company name is needed here — just your personal name.]
Address
[FILL IN: your real, physical address — street, house number, postal code, Munich, Germany. A P.O. box is not sufficient under §5 TMG. This can be your home address if you don't have a separate business address — that's normal for an individual operator, not a company.]
Contact
- Email: support@tvmarquee.com
- Phone: [FILL IN — a reachable phone number is required, not optional]
Commercial register / VAT
As a private individual (not a registered company), there's no Handelsregister entry. For VAT, most individuals just starting out qualify for the small-business exemption — if your annual revenue is under the §19 UStG threshold, state: "Gemäß §19 Abs. 1 UStG wird keine Umsatzsteuer erhoben (Kleinunternehmerregelung)." If you're already registered for VAT (or expect to exceed the threshold), replace this with your Umsatzsteuer-ID instead. [Confirm which applies to you — this determines whether you charge VAT on Plus subscriptions at all.]
Responsible for content
Verantwortlich für den Inhalt nach §18 Abs. 2 MStV:
[FILL IN: name and address — usually the same as "Operator" above, unless someone else
is editorially responsible for the site's content]
EU dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS), available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ . We are [FILL IN: state whether you are willing/obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board].
Liability for content and links
As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law. However, we are not obligated to monitor third-party information we transmit or store, or to investigate circumstances indicating illegal activity. Links to external websites (e.g. TMDB, football-data.org, Stripe) are outside our control; we are not liable for their content, and we adopt no responsibility for it — the linked site's own operator is always responsible for its content.
